15 Minutes

15 Minutes was our first immersive theater show. We invited six close friends to participate in a three-act experience, providing them with very little information beforehand.

Participants entered the show space, led by a silent Nuisance to seat themselves at a dining table and await their fate. One pair at a time, the participants were led upstairs, blindfolded, and seated on floor cushions. Over the course of a ten-minute song, the Nuisances guided - and in some cases, were guided through - a seated dance with joined hands in response to the shifting emotions of the music. After the performance was complete, the blindfolds were removed and the pair was led to a quiet decompression room, free of technological distractions.

We aimed to explore the power and intimacy of physical touch, especially after an uncertain and slightly unnerving entrance. This show was a love letter to our friends, the duets intended as a light in the darkness even as we moved unseen together.
